    Hey, you are one of the very few people I have seen on YT that actually checked the results of the room EQ independently from the curve shown by the utility. Good show ;) I do that too, and sometimes there are differences worth noting. Also, I always find Adam to have too much sharp, not shiny, top. If I was you I'd build a resonant trap to tackle that low 40.8 resonance - a long tuned damped pipe/tube in the corners would do it (can be square or sewer pipe or ... ). I won't put an URL because YT but check out DIY Audio Helmholtz pipe-dreams. I use both Sonarworks and Arc 4, both are good. I have considered buying the A8H but want bigger bass. Those who live in big cities are lucky in terms of auditioning stuff. Also, 3 way always give better mid definition, in my limited - but long - experience. Cheers, thanks for the work.

    • @LanewoodStudios
      @LanewoodStudios День назад

      Yes the actual results are never that flat line that SoundID targets 😉. I’ll read up on resonant traps but so far I understand that it would need to be pretty big to work on such a low frequency.

      @@LanewoodStudios Yes quarter wavelength @ ~40Hz is around 2m so they can be say 30x30 x200 and stand in the corners (or buy fat pipes from hardware/builder store). Best if vent is at bottom to couple with mode. They don't have to kill it just reduce it to something better ;) I've done this to handle irritating modes, worth the effort.

    Great video as always. One Question though. If I'm programming a chord progression using the Chord editor and want to go back to just putting in single notes, how do I do it? Do I have to create a new midi track? There doesn't seem to be a way to shut this editor off once you start using it. I also saw this issue on the Cubase forum. Might be worth mentioning if this is the case. Still in my top three. Keep up the great work.

    • @LanewoodStudios
      @LanewoodStudios 12 часов назад

      I hadn't even noticed that because when I'm done I typically close the event (midi) editor. And if you then re-open, the chord editing selection is gone. So that is one way to get back to editing individual notes. Another way I found is to change the editing tool (that you have selected in your cursor) and then go back to the draw tool again. But if anyone knows more ways, let us know :).

    You did not mention if it can control the master volume channel? I have a presonus ioStation 24c and it does not control master ch I was thinking of getting the whole ssl 360 set uf8, and plug-in controller

      @@DJ_ByPDipper ha frankly I do not even know, I’ll have to try it for you or someone else may reply. The fader of my stereo out channel is always at zero. I use a separate monitor controller for reducing volume if I need to.

      @user-oj3nh9qe3l ah ok yes. Well Audimee does not provide copies of famous singers. Some of their vocalists do remind you of someone famous sometimes though.

    If steinberg notices you used your Steinberg license (not eLicencer) on 2 computers, is that a problem ? Or just do not use them together at the same time is that ok ?

    • @LanewoodStudios

      @@bonno666 yes, you are able to activate the new licensing on three different systems. But just not to use them at the same time.
